The first book I'm going to write about is Into the Wild. It is about a cat named Rusty who lives with twolegs (humans) who meets some wild cats from Thunderclan, one of the four clans in the forest. After a fight with the youngest, an apprentice named Greypaw, they invite him to join their clan and he does. He goes with them to their camp and is given the warrior apprentice name Firepaw. However, there is trouble in the forest, and of more than one variety.
First of all, Shadowclan, who is always at the bottom of trouble in the forest, has an evil and dangerous leader, Brokenstar. Also, Redtail, the Thunderclan deputy has been killed, and Tigerclaw's story about that seems suspicious. As the book goes on, Firepaw and Greypaw become best friends, and at the end of the book they get their warrior names: Fireheart and Greystripe.
The book is full of adventure, friendship, and awesome Characters like the sarcastic Yellowfang, the kind, gentle, and beautiful Spottedleaf, the annoying apprentices Sandpaw and Dustpaw, the noble Thunderclan leader Bluestar, and many other characters. This book is definately a must read for anybody who loves books about animals, friendship, loyalty, and just a good book in particular, because if you read it, you will amazingly get all of that packed in to a book with about 317 pages because Erin Hunter definately knows how to write a good book!
So if you want to read a good book, just get a snack, curl up with kitty and read Into the Wild. You definately won't be disappointed.
